Swiss Travel : Gruyères! Castle & Fondue

After I moved to Switzerland, I have never visited the Cheese factory, and I only tried once Fondue. Thanks to my friend, Manual, who was organising a wonderful trip for us. So I had a chance to have a delicious fondue and visit the castle nearby.

Just went to a wood near where i live yesterday afternoon, actually I was planning to jog at

first, but well.. after a while I had a really long slowly walk instead of doing sweaty sport. 

Today I would like to recommend one of my favorite band-Death Cab For Cutie.  They just release their new album"Codes and Keys", I love all of songs, such a lazy and relax a moment that I'm very enjoying it. Go check their website and maybe you'll fall in love with their music too.

Swiss Travel: Castle restaurant in Luzern

在台灣這幾年好像也開始流行歐風城堡式建築，尤其是中南部都有類似的觀光景點，打造既夢幻又浪漫的城堡做為度假中心，確實招攬不少生意，而且住個幾天就很有度假的感覺。

雖然在歐洲本地應該有很多古堡，但其實除了保留幾個獨具特色的之外，大部分都改建為普通的建築。而這座沿用歐洲古時期風格的白色城堡，是近代建造做為的一家渡假酒店，但後來經營周轉不靈，經過一翻波折之後，酒店已停止營業，目前只經營位在一樓的法國菜餐廳。從Luzern市中心開車，只需花費10幾分鐘的時間，在夏天來可以坐在戶外，能欣賞到Luzern的整個城市和湖邊的全景。

Architecture: Westside in Bern

上星期特地跑到瑞士的首都Bern (其實也只有30分鐘的車程)，拜訪號稱目前瑞士規模最大的shopping mall-Westside，雖然跟香港的海港城或Elements比起來不算甚麼，不過以在這裡來說，的卻是一件很了不得的創舉了。 這座以方塊外型穿插拼組而成的建築，在瑞士是非常少見的，如果你從不同的角度看更會有不同的感受，設計師採用大片玻璃做為天花板的設計概念，使整個環境都變得非常明亮，這也讓我想起今年五月在日本東京見到的Tokyo midtown建築，同樣也是巧妙運用光線與建築結合在一起，讓你就算是在shopping mall裡逛街也都能享受到暖暖太陽光的感覺。

Last time I came here was winter, I didn't know that summer's scene would be so fresh and unbelievable. Nearly green river with the snow white waterfalls, it was hard to describe unless you come here by yourself.

Diary: Enjoy the city with love

The summer in Zürich is incredible. I love the warm weather, the fresh air, the shining sunshine, the breeze, everything seems so perfect for me. And had a wonderful time with my mom during this month, yesterday drove her to the airport and now I already miss her so much :(  looking forward to see her as soon as possible. PS. But Annie you must also come next time.  Hope you enjoy the summer time in this beautiful city just like me. : )

Nothing is perfect, we always feel a piece of something is missing in our life. That's why we try so hard to pursue what we lost. And, unfortunately, it would never be fulfilled. But, we still can have a beautiful life in the end.

Architecture : Villa Vals瑞士山谷度假別墅

剛獲得2011年Wallpaper-Designpreis 的Villa Vals度假別墅，座落於瑞士中部,高度1250公尺高的Valsertal山谷裡，設計師透過獨特的建築設計和豐富的創造力，成功地將建築和大自然景觀融合在一起。

來自瑞士當地的設計團隊Christian Müller Architects 以及荷蘭建築事務所SeARCH，打破傳統建築的思維，以庭院作為ㄧ個出口，將這座延伸在山谷裡的別墅，塑造成有如洞穴般的建築風格，完美的將瑞士的鄉村風景和設計結合在一起。設計師不僅在外觀上付出相當大的努力，裡頭的裝潢設計更別具心裁, 利用大量的木材和以及未經處理過的石牆以及石階等，以簡單和呈立方型交叉的方式，打造出優雅的居住環境，所有傢俱擺設及色彩搭配是由 Hella Jongerius 和 Marcel Wanders兩位設計師精心挑選和佈置，著實讓人賞心悅目，所以即使要價一天ㄧ萬六千元台幣的頂級消費，每個月仍是處於客滿的狀態。

這是我第一次參加瑞士一年一度盛大的嘉年華會(Fastnacht )，每年在Zurich, Luzern, Rabadan 都會隆重舉辦，這一天，全城市的人都會精心打扮在街上玩樂灑碎紙片，不僅有設計獨特的道具花車遊行，還有專業的樂隊演奏，可以說是相當的熱鬧非凡。
